Picking Up a Call
If you are a member of a call pickup group, you can answer calls to any
other member (extension) in the group.
To answer a call to a call pickup group, do the following:
1)
Lift the handset and wait for a dial tone.
2)
Press *8# to answer the call.
16.2
Internal Group Hunting
An internal group hunting group consists of a number of extensions
(members) that have been assigned a
common call number
.
When a common call number is called, the call is sent to an available
group member (extension) according to a priority list. Only the selected
extension will receive a notification of the call.

If all extensions within the group are busy, the call will be queued.
Note:
An internal hunt group is set up and activated by the system
administrator.

Leaving a Group Temporarily
You can leave an internal group hunting group temporarily. To do that
you have to order Follow-me to your own extension number, see 10.1.1
Ordering Follow-me From Own Telephone on page 61.
16.2.2
Reentering the Group
You can reenter an internal group hunting group that you have left
temporarily. To do that you have to cancel Follow-me to your own exten-
sion number, see 10.1.2 Canceling Follow-me From Your Own Tele-
phone on page 62.
16.3 Call
Park
Pool
You can park a call and transfer the call to a specific directory number
(also called Call Park Pool) and any extension can pick up the call. If the
call is not picked up within a few minutes, the call will recall your exten-
sion.
