During Calls
This chapter describes a number of features that you can activate during
an ongoing call. Placing a call on hold, making a transfer, and starting a
conference are a few examples.
During an ongoing call, the display shows information about the dialed
(or called) number and name (if available) and the duration of the call.

9.1 On
Hold
Putting a call on hold means that you park a call temporarily in order to,
for instance, make an inquiry to a third party. You can put extension
numbers as well as external numbers on hold.

Putting a Call On Hold
To put an ongoing call on hold, do the following:

Press the line key for the ongoing call.
OR
•
Press
Hold
for the ongoing call.

Retrieving a Call On Hold
To retrieve a call on hold, do the following:
