6.2 Headset
Using a headset allows you to make and receive calls without using the
handset.
The telephone supports wireless headsets that enable the user to
answer and end calls remotely, via the headset.

If you are using a
wired headset
, connect the
headset cable
to the
connector marked
.

If you are using a
wireless headset
, connect the radio base to the
connector marked
.
Note:
Using a wired headset requires an adapter cable, see 2.1.2
Required Headset Adapter on page 4.
By default, the phone is set to connect calls to the loudspeaker. If you
are using a headset, you can switch to the headset preset mode to have
calls connected to the headset instead.
