Shortcuts
This section describes how to call, add, edit, and delete shortcuts from
the Shortcuts pages.
Note:
You can also add, edit, and delete shortcuts from the Settings
menu, see 18.2 Shortcuts on page 109.
14.1 Shortcut
Keys
The phone has 8 programmable shortcut keys, allowing you to program
up to 80 shortcuts on 10 pages, with 8 shortcuts on each page.
When you press the shortcuts key,
, page 2 of 10 is displayed. Press
Previous
and
Next
to switch pages. (Page 1 displays the same short-
cuts as in idle mode.)
If you have a DPU/KPU installed, shortcut pages 2-4 in the phone will be
used by the DPU/KPU, and if you have a second DPU/KPU installed,
shortcut pages 5-7 will be used by that DPU/KPU, and so on.
Note:
If you have three KPUs installed (the maximum number), each
shortcut will have its own key.
14.2
Dial by Shortcuts
Shortcut keys can hold both features and phone numbers.
•
To enable a function or dial a number programmed as a shortcut,
press the key associated with the shortcut.
Note:
If the shortcut is not visible in idle mode, press
to open the
shortcuts menu and scroll to the page containing the desired
shortcut and press its key.
14.3
Add a Shortcut
To add a shortcut, you can either enter the details manually, or retrieve
them from the call list or the contacts list. This section describes how to
do it.
