5. Fuse

Replacement:

Use standard soldering techniques when replacing fuse. Observe precautions
necessary when working with printed circuit boards.
-cut fuse from board.

-use

soldering pencil

to remove remaining wire.

-be sure that circuit board holes are free of solder so that new fuse will fit properly.

-when installing new fuse, solder leads on top

and

bottom of circuit board and

remember to clip the extra wire.

6. Coil

Continuity:

Use a multi-meter to check the continuity of the coil. Insert probes into terminal
connector at terminals

and

. An infinite reading indicates the coil is defective. A

good coil will read between

1.5

and

1.7

ohms.
