Instruction for use:
The
3M 4530
is designed for uses whereby the wearer is likely to come
into contact with limited hazardous splash and dry particles (dust).
Suggested uses are for protection against dusts, acid, alkali and/or solvent
splash and water. This is in accordance with CE Category III,
Type 5 & 6.
Select an appropriate size gament that allows sufficient movement for the
task.
Only for use by trained, competent personnel.
For additional protection in certain applications, taping of cuffs, ankles
and hood may be considered.
Suitable respiratory protection must be used.
Limitations to use:

leaflet or on the product packaging

The
3M 4530
is an EN533:1997 Index 1/0 material and is not intended to
be used on its own as a fire retardant garment and must be used over an
index 2 or 3 material for flame protection. Please note that the knitted
cuffs have not been treated for flame retardant and as such must not
come into contact with sparks or flash flames.
The
3M 4530
must not be used in areas where there is a risk of exposure
to certain hazardous substances beyond CE Type 5/6 certification. While
a certain level of limited protection may be afforded against these
chemicals, no guarantee can be provided as to the resistance to exposures
other than to chemical splashes and hazardous dusts.
The
3M 4530
is anti statically treated and offer electrostatic protection
according to EN1149-1.
All apparel must be suitably grounded for anti static treatment to be
effective.
The
3M 4530
must not be used in contact with heavy oils.
The
3M 4530
is made using breathable fabrics. Nevertheless it is
important to bear in mind the constraints on use in hot environments and
in particular the consequences to the comfort of the wearer.
Please note that the tests carried out on the
3M 4530
are done so under
laboratory conditions and may not therefore reflect the reality of use.
Other factors may influence these product limitations, such as use in
conditions of excessive heat or in environments with high mechanical
risks (abrasion, cuts, tears).
The user is the only judge of the type of protection that is suitable for
him to use.
The supplier shall not be held liable for any incorrect usage of these
garments.
