Unload the slide by clicking 

Unload

 next to slide image and unload the magazine by 

clicking

left of the control bar, then click

If there is a lens marking at the bottom of the position preview in the magazine image, 
the preview image of that slide has already been created, and if a question mark is 
displayed the slide was not yet loaded. A slide that is loaded at the moment is highlighted 
with a blue background and outer line.
