Cleaning or Replacing the 2-Stage Powder Filter

The powder filter filters powder and air moving through the system.

There is one located at the rear of the MQC System (see

“MQC

System - Rear View” on page 10

) and one on the left side of

the printer. You access the filter by loosening the thumb screws and

removing the cover .

To Clean or Replace the Sock Filter:

1 . Open the left-lower door of the printer or rear door of the MQC

System .

2 .

Unscrew the filter cover.

3 .

Loosen the top thumb screws to unclamp the sock filter.

4 .

Remove the sock filter.

5 . Turn inside-out, shake off loose powder, and vacuum .
6 .

If necessary, replace the filter.

7 .

Replace the filter cover.

8 . Close the printer door .

Replacing Electrical Enclosure Filter

Air moving through the electrical cabinet is filtered from both

sides of the cabinet. You access these filters by loosening the

thumb screws and removing the covers .

To replace the filter:

1 . Open the lower door (left or right) of the printer .
2 .

Unscrew the filter cover.

3 .

Remove and replace the filters.

4 .

Replace the filter cover.

5 . Close the printer door .

Cleaning or Replacing Hepa Filter

This filter complements the filtering of the sock

filter. Access this filter from the left side of the

printer or rear of MQC System by loosening the

thumb screws and removing the cover .

To replace the filter:

1 . Open the left-lower door of the printer .
2 .

Unscrew the filter cover.

3 .

Remove and replace the filters.

4 .

Replace the filter cover.

5 . Close the printer door .
