4 Software Description

Foreground Color

You can select the following foreground color of the barcode area:

Black

White

Barcode Image Compensation

Click

Use barcode compensation image

to use the previously created compensation image for

scanning the label area. You can take a new compensation image from a slide with blank barcode
sticker by clicking

Prepare a slide with a label area covered fully by a white sticker. The compensation image improves
the effectiveness of barcode reading.

4.2.2 Image Compensation

You can create a new compensation image when there are compensation errors (deriving from the
slide, illumination, staining or embedding medium irregularities) from an empty slide by setting these

options.

By moving the mouse cursor over the

buttons, the software displays information about the

setting you are interested in.
