If optical power of LED has dropped due to dust or resin on its glass
surface, remove its LED board (three boards per one system) from
its assembly.
If dust on the surface you can use a soft bristle paint brush and
lightly brush off any dust that may be present.
NOTE: The removal of the board will need to be done if any
cooked on material is present.
If dust is not removable, the use of a few drops of alcohol on a Q-tip
to clean the particles from the surface can be done. The size of
window is relatively small (dia. 4.35mm) so the Q-tip should be
smaller than the size of the LED glass surface and focus on only the
window.
When there is liquid/uncured resin or partially cured resin on the LED
window:
If liquid/uncured resin is on the surface, use alcohol and Q-tips as in
"Step 4- When there Is resin or dust on the LED window." until hard
particles on the window are completely removed.
If partially cured resin or sticky substance is stuck on the LED
window, a piece of wood (or hard plastic scraping tool) or the other
side of Q-tip can be used to remove by scraping it away from the
surface.
After removing the resin, repeat Step 2 again until particles on the
window are completely removed.
When resin is cured completely/stuck on the LED window
Electro-static protection for grounding is required when
removing the circuit board to avoid damage to the board. If
