Changing Configuration for Multiple NICs
B-5
Boot ROM
To use this option, you must have installed the
3C359-TRIROM in the boot ROM socket on the NIC.
(The 3C359-TRIROM must be ordered separately. See
installation instructions in the TriROM user guide.) When
enabled, the NIC allows the system to access BootWare
residing in the TriROM, enabling the PC to boot (with
or without a hard drive) remotely from a LAN server in
TCP/IP, NetWare, and RPL environments. The default setting
is
Disabled
.
Memory Limit of 1 Megabyte
When disabled (set to
No Limit
), the MMIO address space
can be mapped above the standard conventional memory
address limit of 1 megabyte.
Changing Configuration for Multiple NICs
If you have more than one 3C359 NIC in your PC, you must
select the NIC you want to configure.
From the DOS
Configuration and Diagnostic Program
menu
(Figure B-1), press Tab to select the
Select
pull-down menu.
Select the 3C359 NIC you want to configure. Continue
with configuration instructions as described earlier in
this appendix.
