. When asked to confirm
this action, select Yes . The Internet Firewall 25 restarts.
9 Assign an IP address to all the PCs on the network so that
they have Internet access.
The IP addresses are to be assigned dynamically by the
DHCP server on the Internet Firewall 25. To set this up:
a Run the management interface and click Network.
b Click the DHCP Server Setup tab.
c Make sure that the Click Enable DHCP Server check box
is selected, and in the Client Default Gateway box, type
the Web address for the Internet Firewall 25:
192.168.1.254

Enter the IP addresses for the DNS servers into the DNS
Server 1 and DNS Server 2 boxes:
10.201.80.7
10.201.80.8
e Enter a range of addresses for the Internet Firewall 25 to
issue to the PCs. Make sure that the range includes as
many addresses as there are PCs,
192.168.1.201
through
192.168.1.220
, for example. Click Updat e.

Choose a PC for the syslog server and assign an IP address
to it.
For a syslog server to work on the LAN network, you must
make sure that the IP address of the PC hosting the server
does not change. If the DHCP server assigns the address, it
may change. However, Internet Firewall can statically assign
an IP address to a specific PC using the DHCP protocol, so
that you do not have to set up the PC manually.
