11-2 Remote Management Configuration
11.1.3 System Timeout
There is a default system management idle timeout of five minutes (three hundred seconds). The
Prestige automatically logs you out if the management session remains idle for longer than this
timeout period. The management session does not time out when a statistics screen is polling.
11.2 Telnet
You can configure your Prestige for remote Telnet access as shown next.

11.3 FTP
You can upload and download Prestige firmware and configuration files using FTP. To use this
feature, your computer must have an FTP client.
11.4 Web
You can use the Prestige’s embedded web configurator for configuration and file management. See the
online help
for details.

Click Remote Management to open the following screen.
