IPv6 Message Fetch
Type
If the encapsulation type is ENET ENCAP, you can select
Dynamic Mode
to
automatically obtain an IP address or
Static Mode
to enter a static IP address.
DHCP IPv6 Enable
Select
DHCP
if you want to obtain an IPv6 address from a DHCPv6 server.
The IP address assigned by a DHCPv6 server has priority over the IP address
automatically generated by the Device using the IPv6 prefix from an RA.
Select
SLAAC
(Stateless address autoconfiguration) to have the Device use the prefix
to automatically generate a unique IP address that does not need to be maintained by
a DHCP server.
DHCP PD Enable
Select
Enable
to use DHCP PD (Prefix Delegation) to allow the Device to pass the
IPv6 prefix information to its LAN hosts. The hosts can then use the prefix to generate
their IPv6 addresses.
IPv6 Address
Enter the IPv6 address assigned by your ISP.
IPv6 Default Gateway Enter the gateway IPv6 address provided by your ISP.
IPv6 DNS Server1
Enter the first IPv6 DNS server address assigned by the ISP.
IPv6 DNS Server2
Enter the second IPv6 DNS server address assigned by the ISP.
MLD Proxy
Select
Enable
to have the Device act as an MLD proxy on this connection. This allows
the Device to get subscription information and maintain a joined member list for each
multicast group. It can reduce multicast traffic significantly.
Connection (PPPoA and PPPoE encapsulation only)
Keep Alive
Select
Keep Alive
when you want your connection up all the time. The Device will try
to bring up the connection automatically if it is disconnected.
Connect Manually
Select
Connect Manually
when you don't want the connection up all the time, and
would prefer to connect manually. You can activate the connection by clicking the
Connect
button on the
