Saving energy while cooking
▸ Avoid opening the appliance door frequently.
▸ For gratins, use the residual heat: for cooking times over 30 minutes, switch the appli-
ance off 5–10 minutes before the end of the operating time.
▸ Minimize preheating.
▸ Only preheat the cooking space if the cooking or baking results depend on it.
13.4 Automatic energy-saving stand-by
The appliance is equipped with automatic energy-saving stand-by to avoid consuming
energy unnecessarily.
To reduce power consumption to a minimum, select , «Time display invis-
ible», in the user settings. Despite automatic energy-saving stand-by, all safety
functions are active.
