4.2 Childproof lock
The childproof lock is to prevent the appliance from being accidentally switched on.
If the
or button is pressed when the childproof lock is activated
– a double acoustic signal is emitted
– nothing happens when the button is pressed
– appears in the display.
Operating the appliance with the childproof lock activated
▸ Hold the button depressed and press the or button.
– The childproof lock is overridden.
– The appliance can now be operated as normal.
– The childproof lock is automatically reactivated 10 minutes after the appliance has
been switched off.
