3.  Lift the battery away from the phone. 

i. Use a fingernail to hook the edge of the battery, as shown in the picture. 
ii. Lift the battery up to remove it. 

 

Charging the battery 

Your phone is powered by a rechargeable battery. The battery is not fully charged 
when first unpacked, but there may be enough power to power your phone on. You 
should use it up completely before charging the battery for the first time. Charge 
the battery with the procedure indicated below. 
1.  Insert the charger’s USB adapter into the USB port. See the following picture. 
2.  Connect the charger to a standard AC wall outlet. 
3.  Remove the charger from both the wall outlet and the phone once the charging 

completed.
