Verify that your Internet connection is working. Open your
Web browser and try to connect to a familiar Web address. If
you connect successfully, you are ready to set up the rest of
your network.

Tip!
If you configured the X6v
using a notebook computer, you can
keep it plugged in or you can disconnect it from the unit’s
ETHERNET port. As long as the X6v
remains plugged into an
ADSL wall jack and a power source, the X6v
can function as a
stand-alone device. You can then make the notebook part of your
wireless network.
