Configuration Settings
Overview
This section describes the configurable settings for the ZOLL AED 3 defibrillator.
The configuration settings can be manually selected through the use of the LCD
touch screen, or automatically configured by reading a configuration file directly
from a USB flash drive.
Press the Device Configuration icon to access the configuration window. To
import a configuration file from a USB flash drive, see “Importing Files from a
USB Flash Drive” on page 16.
There are two levels of configuration settings: user and supervisor. The
supervisor settings are indicated by the Supervisor Access icon. You need a pass
code to access these advanced settings (the default passcode is listed under “Set
Supervisor Passcode” on page 54). Press the icons on the screen to access the
configuration settings below. Once you set up your AED to put it into service,
ZOLL recommends that you create a new supervisor passcode.
