Setting Description Values
Lay Rescuer Prompts
Note : This setting is also
available to the Supervisor
user.
When enabled ( ON ), the AED issues
the following audio and text prompts
after completion of the power-on self-
test and entry into clinical mode:
STAY CALM
CHECK RESPONSIVENESS
CALL FOR HELP
Note : If defibrillation pads are pre-
attached to the patient, these
prompts are not issued.

Check Breathing Prompts
Note : This setting is also
available to the Supervisor
user.
Allows you to enable the check
breathing prompts, “Open Airway and
Check Breathing”, based on the
guidelines you want to follow.
When disabled (
OFF ), these prompts
are not issued.
Note : If defibrillation pads are pre-
attached to the patient, these
prompts are not issued.

CPR Depth Measure Units
Note : This setting is also
available to the Supervisor
user.
Allows you to set the CPR depth
measurement units to inches or
centimeters.

Note : The default
value depends on
the AED’s primary

Date
Note : This setting is also
available to the Supervisor
user.
Allows you to manually set the date
on the AED. Month/Day/Year
Time
Note : This setting is also
available to the Supervisor
user.
Allows you to manually set the time
and to specify the time zone.
When Auto Adjust for Daylight
Savings is enabled ( ON ), the AED’s
24-hour clock automatically adjusts
for Daylight Savings Time.
Note : You must select a time zone for
this setting to work.
