2.2 Installing the pH Link or Dual Link module
•
Turn off your power pack then the fi ltrati on by cutti ng off the main electricity supply in order to isolate the installati on.
•
Close the isolati ng valves in the pipework.
•
Remove the silver cover by pressing the sides and raising it (
1
), then unscrew the four screws att aching the original
(empty) lower module to the power pack (
2
).
•
Remove the empty module (
3
).
•
Unpack and connect the BNC cable from the pH sensor to the module (
4
).
•
Positi on the BNC plug on the screw head (
5
), then connect the module ribbon (
6
).
•
Remove the BNC cable (

•
Do not reconnect the electricity supply unti l the pH Link or Dual Link module, the sensor-holding POD Kit and
the pH minus injecti on pipe have been installed (see “2.3.3 Installing the pH minus injecti on line”).
2.3 Installing the POD Kit
The sensor-holding POD Kit is a single assembly including the fl ow rate detector (used by your appliance, see “2.3.2
Installing the fl ow switch”), the pH and ACL sensors and pH minus injecti on.
•
The cell bypass valves must always be open.
•
The sensor-holding POD Kit must always be positi oned on a horizontal pipe so that the sensors are verti cal
(
1
or
2
).
•
The POD Kit must be the fi rst unit fi tt ed aft er the pool fi lter.
•
If the pool is fi tt ed with a heati ng system (heat pump, heat exchanger, electric heater, etc.), the POD Kit must
be installed before it (
3
) (to take readings on unheated water).
•
We recommend positi oning the POD Kit more than 20 cm from an elbow in the pipe.
•
The sensor cables must not be positi oned near high voltage mains electricity cables.
