2.3.3 Installing the pH minus injecti on line
When handling chemical products, always use appropriate safety equipment (safety glasses, gloves and jack-
et).
a) Installing the injecti on line (peristalti c pump > non-return
valve)
•
Remove the protecti ve cover from the peristalti c pump,
•
Cut a suitable length of pipe from the coil supplied to connect the
peristalti c pump to the injecti on non-return valve located on the
POD Kit
•
Att ach the pipe to the threaded connector on the peristalti c
pump outlet.
•
Att ach the other end of the pipe to the injecti on non-return valve.
b) Installing the intake pipe (container > peristalti c pump)
•
Cut a suitable length of pipe from the coil supplied to connect the
container of pH minus to the peristalti c pump.
•
Att ach the pipe to the threaded connector on the peristalti c
pump inlet.
•
Make a hole to fi t the diameter of the intake pipe in the cap of
the pH minus container and another smaller hole to avoid the
container distorti ng as the product is sucked up.
•
Pass the free end of the pipe through the hole made in the cap
and put the ceramic counterweight and threaded locking nozzle
on the end.
•
Ensure that ALL connecti ons are correct and waterti ght before
operati ng the pH Link or Dual Link module.
•
Replace the protecti ve cover on the peristalti c pump.

3. Use
3.1 Activating the module
The power pack automati cally detects the presence of a pH Link or Dual Link module. It is now ready to be used with
automati c pH control using the pH Link module or pH and ACL control using the Dual Link module.
3.2 Display
The LCD screen will display 2 extra lines:
- pH Link module:
pH set point
- Dual Link module:
pH set point
ACL set point
A '^' symbol appears to the right of the set point if the value measured by the equipment needs to be corrected automati cally
(pH of water in the pool higher than the set point and/or insuffi cient chlorine level). Then pH minus is injected and/or
chlorine produced automati cally according to the defi ned cycles.
By default, pH regulati on (peristalti c pump in the module) is disabled and the LCD screen will display 'pH ---'.
It is enabled automati cally about 8 hours aft er being turned on. To enable pH regulati on immediately and so
display the set point on the LCD screen, (see “3.6.2 Acti vati ng / deacti vati ng the peristalti c pump”).
