15.3.2 Stopping the engine
NOTE: Bucket and other attachments, as well as the dozer, must be lowered to the ground to prevent seri-
ous accidents.
• To cool down, the engine should continue to
run at idle for approx. 5 minutes.
• Set the throttle lever to the idle position.
• Carefully lower the bucket and other attach-
ments, as well as the dozer, using the appropri-
ate control levers.
• Set the ignition key (1) to the "OFF" position and
remove it.
NOTE: In case of emergency, or if the engine continues to idle even though the ignition key is in the "OFF"
position, do the following:
• Open the engine cover and set the fuel cock (2)
to the "closed" position.
