Lock lever (swing upper carriage)
NOTE: Before locking the upper carriage, it must be
aligned parallel to the lower carriage.
• When the locking lever is in the "lock" position,
the upper carriage is locked to the lower car-
riage.
15.2.2 Function of the components
Horn switch
NOTE: Before starting the engine, operate the horn
(1) to attract the attention of nearby persons.

Light switch
As soon as the key is in the "ON" position, the work-
ing light can be switched on by operating the light
switch (2).
NOTE: The lighting in the working environment of
the machine must be above 500 lux.
Night work
NOTE: In the dark, visibility is limited so that the
working light alone is not sufficient. Use additional
light sources and observe the safety instructions
and the special regulations for night work.
Hour meter
The hour meter (3) displays the total number of op-
erating hours.
NOTE: The hour meter (3) advances one digit for
each hour of operation.
As soon as the ignition key is in the "ON" position,
the engine does not have to be running, the oper-
ating hours are recorded.
