Top up chain oil
N OTE
Never work without chain lubrication! If the saw chain runs dry, the cutting set will be ir-
reparably damaged in a short time. Always check chain lubrication and oil level in the tank
before working.
•
Remove the oil tank cap (2).
•
Fill the oil tank (1) with approx. 125ml chain oil!
•
The chain lubrication can be increased in three steps by
turning the oil adjustment screw (3) clockwise (max. 5-10
ml/min) or decreased by turning it anticlockwise (min. 2-5
ml/min).
14.2.3
Check and tensioning of the saw chain
•
Turn the chain tensioning screw (1) clockwise with the slot-
ted screwdriver to increase the tension.
•
The saw chain must rest against the underside of the
guidebar. Check whether the saw chain can be pulled over
the guidebar by hand.
14.2.4
Cleaning pole pruner
•
Remove the chain wheel cover (38).
•
Remove the saw chain (31) from the guidebar
(30) and clean the guidebar (41).
