Troubleshooting

Check Video cable

Check TV type settings
•
Check power adaptor
•
Check power switches
•
Ensure the video cables are
connected between the
player and the ClearStream
•
Check video cables to make
sure they are connected to
the correct plugs and that
the cables are in good
condition.
•
Check video settings to
make sure the TV Type is
set correctly. If you have an
NTSC TV make sure you
have it set to NTSC and not
PAL.
Network Not
Working
•
IP address settings
incorrect
•
Cable not plugged in
•
Check your IP settings in
the Network settings page
•
Check the network cable is
plugged in on both the
ClearStream and your
network hub. A link light
should show up on the
ClearStream if the cable is
connected correctly
ClearStream
cannot obtain IP
address
•
DHCP server not
running
•
Ensure that there is a server
or device that acts as a
DHCP server if using the
auto setting in the network
settings page.
Hard Disk not
detected
•
Incorrect drive settings
•
IDE
cable
not
connected correctly

Check that your drives
Master/Slave jumper
settings are set correctly.

Ensure that Pin 1 on the
IDE cable (Red Stripe) is
connected to Pin 1 on the
Hard Disk.
