7 Product description

7.1 Type plate

A type plate is attached to the housing of the product.

The article number and the serial number are shown on the type

plate, as well as the interface and maximum speed.

7.2 Functional description

The product is directly driven by a

three-phase motor

The product is operated by means of a frequency converter. An inductive analog sensor is installed for speed sensor

monitoring and standstill monitoring. The heat created by the motor must be discharged by a suitable cooling system. The

product features corresponding internal cooling ducts.
The loosening unit is designed for automatic tool exchanges.

A high-resolution rotary encoder can be installed as an option for speed control/standstill monitoring ( Bauer).
