NexGen MIS LPS-Flex Mobile Implant System

Surgical Technique

Set the Final Resection Level (cont.)

These two points of resection will usually not coincide.
The surgeon must determine the appropriate level of
resection based on patient age, bone quality, and the
type of prosthetic fixation planned.

Insert an MIS screw through the medial oblong hole
on the cutting head (Figure 1l). This hole is angled to
facilitate screw insertion.

Remove the MIS tibial depth resection stylus. Place
another MIS screw through the central anterior hole
on the cutting head (Figure 1m).

Note:

The MIS depth resection stylus must be

removed before inserting a pin or screw into the
central anterior hole.
