10.

Switching OFF the Device

The actuation of the switch



(see Diagram 5, Page 13) switches off the complete

device  (pump  and  motor).  If  the  suction  line  is  removed  out  of  the  acid  vessel,
carefully  place the  same  into  a  suited  container  to  prevent  the  contamination of the
strainer.
Take care that any possibly spilled or leaking acid does not cause any damage.

The device also automatically shuts off, if the floater, and consequently the flow rate
at the measuring tube decrease too much. This is the case, e.g. if the acid vessel is
empty or a nozzle is blocked.

Maintenance and Care

As the acid is very corrosive, it is necessary to take good care of the device.

Attention!

Shortly  before  switching  off  the  device  (end  of  season),  the  suction  hose
should be taken out of the liquid so that the system can empty itself.

After completion of the dosing process, the unit should be well rinsed through
with water.

After the end of the season, the device must be rinsed with an anti-freeze agent
at a mixing ratio of 1 : 1 (risk of frost!). The anti-freeze agent should be left in
the  pump  over  the  winter  in  order  to  prevent  the  pump  as  well  as  the  rubber
pats from becoming porous.

Before the start of the season all part (screw-connections, hoses etc.) must be
checked for leaks and, if necessary, exchanged. Before commissioning the device for
the new season, thoroughly rinse it through with water.

Should there be any malfunctions at the pump all repairs may only be
performed by the factory.

The fastening parts for the pump (retaining rings) are marked with sealing wax.

Any damage to the wax sealing will lead to the expiry of the warranty.

The suction filter should also be cleaned (rinsed) during the season.
