Possible Faults and their Remedy

Malfunction

Cause / Remedy

The electrical motor of the pump can not
be switched on.

Check the electrical connections.

The flow rate suddenly rapidly drops
down.

1. Possibly blockage of the nozzle or the
ball valve filter. Clean the same.
2. The vessel with Luprosil is empty.

The pump does not suction.

1. Possibly blockage of the suction line.
2. Turn the adjustment screw of the
quantity adjustment valve to the extreme
right.

The electrical motor stands still, if the
button I is not constantly held.

1. Check the line system
  (blocked nozzle, empty acid vessel)
2. Floater is not correctly set to the
contact
  maker.

The devoice does not shut off although
the flow rate has decreased.

The contact maker is incorrectly set. The
floater is still in the range of the contact
although it lowers itself (only occurs at
very small quantities).

The suction line draws air. (air bubbles
are visible in the flow measuring tube)

1. Strainer not in medium.
2. Suction line has leaks.
3. Retighten the hose clamps.

The pump generates rattling sounds.

Clean the strainer (contaminated).
