DANGER!
– The cornheader could start up unexpectedly during setting work
Impact: Danger to life or of serious injuries.
➢
Lower the cornheader completely
➢
Switch off the combine harvester completely, remove the ignition key and
secure the machine against reactivation (operating Instructions of the
combine harvester)
➢
Wear cut-proof protective gloves
➢
Raise the protective hood of the cornheader and secure against it shut-
ting.
➢
Persons must not be in the danger area.
➢
Never operate the cornheader without all the safety equipment fitted and
closed.
The removal of the corn head from the combine harvester should be carried out in the reverse order of at-
tachment.
Proceed as follows: To park the corn head on the ground, loosen the bolt in the lower part of the feed chute,
pull down the support legs, support the rear part of the corn head on the ground and drive the feed chute out
of the upper pick-up point of the corn pickers.
NB: the movement of the chute is controlled by the commands of the combine.
5.1 Connection process

The corn head is driven for harvesting by the drive of the combine harvester.
It is imperative to always mount the protection of the joints.

Check that the length of the cardan shafts is cor-
rect; the telescopic tubes must overlap at least
1/3 of their length:
- If the cardan shaft is too long, the telescopic
tubes must be adjusted by shortening them so
that the previous condition is maintained.
- Attach the cardan shaft to both the corn head
and the combine harvester.
- Connect the cardan shaft protection chains to
a solid part.
