CHOOSING THE CORRECT BATTERY SIZE
The Premier Power Pack power supplies can use a wide range of battery sizes.
To help determine the most suitable battery size, the following points need to be considered:-
1.
What will be the normal operating output current of the PSU. Will it be a high load (e.g. door holders),
or a small load (e.g. a sounder circuit controller)
2.
What will be the alarm load?
3.
What is the required standby time?
4.
What is the required alarm time?
In general, applications with a higher quiescent current load will require bigger batteries, if they also require a
high standby time.
