ZEPRESSO TREND INSTRUCTION MANUAL
1.
This instruction manual is an integral part of the appliance. Read carefully all
the instructions and safety notices contained in the instruction manual as they
give important information on the appliance use and maintenance. Keep the
instruction manual for future reference!
2. After removing the packaging, make sure the appliance is undamaged and all
parts described in “Unpacking your ZEPRESSO TREND” (Page 7) are included.
3. If you do not understand the given information, do not use the appliance
and refer to ZEPTER professionally qualified personnel.
4. Before connecting the appliance to the mains, make sure the data on the
rating label match those of your electricity mains.
5. Danger of electric shock! Never touch the power plug (I)/socket/cord (H) or
the appliance with damp or wet hands. Never unplug by pulling the power
cord (H); always use the power plug (I).
6. Make sure the electrical elements, power plug (I) and power cord (H) are dry.
7. Never submerge the appliance in water. Protect the appliance from sprays
and drips, as well as atmospheric agents (e.g. rain). Water and electricity
together constitute a risk of electrocution.
8. Do not use the appliance if any damage is shown on the power cord (H)
or the power plug (I). In case of malfunction, turn off the appliance, without
trying to repair it. For any repairs refer only to your ZEPTER repair center.
9. Connect only to a properly grounded power point.
10. The use of adapters, multiple sockets and/or extension is generally to be
avoided; if you cannot do without them, make sure that only standard or
multiple adapters and extensions are used which conform to current safety
regulations.
11. If the program is set to dispense more than 150 ml per cup of beverages,
you have to wait 5 minutes before preparing another cup.
12. Never place your hands inside the capsule compartment. Danger of injury!
13. Never remove parts of the appliance. Do not insert objects into the openings.
This could cause electric shock!
14. Never operate the appliance without water in the water tank unless otherwise
specified in this manual.
15. Never cover the appliance during operation.
16. This appliance can be used by children 8 years and above, and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experiences and
knowledge under supervision, or if they have been instructed about how to
use the appliance safely and about the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Children must not perform cleaning and maintenance.
17. The appliance location must meet the following requirements:
Choose a dry, stable and level support surface not immediately underneath
the power point.
• At least 60 cm away from the washbasin and taps.
• Never place on flammable/fusible surfaces or equipment.
•
Never place the appliance or power cord (H) on or nearer than 50 cm
to hot surfaces or open flames.
18. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning and maintenance.
19. Danger of scalding! Never move the appliance during operation!
20. Danger of scalding! Do not touch the steam or water jets and never
open the handle (A) when the appliance is brewing a beverage.

Danger of burning! Never touch very hot parts of the appliance (e.g.
brew unit during operations).

Ensure that the power cord (H) does not get caught and does not rub
against sharp edges.
23. In case of emergency disconnect the appliance from the mains.
24. The ZEPRESSO TREND appliance was designed exclusively for indoor
domestic purpose to prepare ZEPRESSO coffee and tea selection and
MediZep drinks.
25. Do not use the appliance near explosives, highly flammable materials,
gas or flames.

Carefully clean the appliance daily. If it is not cleaned, the build-up that
forms may be hazardous to your health.
27.
Descale the appliance regularly, following the instructions provided.
Otherwise, the appliance may be damaged and may become harmful to your
health.
28. This appliance can only be assigned to functions it has been designed
for (e.g. prepare ZEPRESSO beverages) and it is described in the instruction
manual. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage
or injuries deriving from improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.

To prevent damage, never use replacement parts or accessories
not recommended by the manufacturer.
