Fitform ZEN Care Chair
Hand control
A. Forward movement
By pressing the white button A, the chair can be changed from its
relaxing or resting position to the sitting and then to the stand-up
position.
B. Backward movement
By pressing the white button B, the chair can be changed from its
stand-up position to the sitting position and then to the relaxing or
resting position.
C. Slow Motion rocking movement
By pressing the grey button C the Slow Motion rocking movement can
be activated.
Please note:
the Slow Motion rocking movement stops automatically
after 30 mins. If required, the rocking movement can be re-activated
by pressing the grey button C on the hand control.
Changing the rocking speed
There are 2 LED lights above the grey button C for the Slow Motion
rocking movement. When the left-hand light is on, this indicates that
the chair is in the ‘slow’ rocking setting. The right-hand light indicates
that it is in the faster rocking setting. The speed can easily be changed:
press the below grey Slow Motion rocking button at the same time as
one of the other 2 buttons. Keep the buttons pressed until the (left-
hand or right-hand) light comes on to indicate the required speed, then
release. The rocking speed that corresponds with the LED which lights
up is now active.
User profiles
The chair has 4 adjustable ‘user profiles’. Each user profile has its own unique combination
of chair movements. The user or carer can decide on the profile which is most suitable.
The 4 LED lights on the hand control indicate the profile which has been set.
Changing the user profile
The user profile can only be changed when the chair is unoccupied.
The user profile can easily be changed: press the two white buttons
simultaneously, keeping them held down. The chair will be set to its
neutral position and the user profile can be selected depending on the
LEDs which light up. Release the button when the light indicates the
required profile. The user profile is now changed.
Profile A
– the chair reclines fully; the riser-recliner raises
the user to a fully standing position
Profile B
– the chair reclines only partly; the riser-recliner
raises the user to a fully standing position
Profile C
– the chair reclines fully; the riser-recliner raises
the user slightly
Profile D
– the chair reclines only partly; the riser-recliner
raises the user slightly
Locking the chair
Behind the zip on the rear of the chair is a ‘magnetic key’ attached by
means of an elastic cord. This enables you to set the chair in its locked
position. Hold the magnetic key above the LED light next to the grey Slow
Motion rocking button and swipe from bottom to top over the hand control
in one smooth movement.
All movements of the chair will stop immediately, regardless of the
setting. To unlock the chair, swipe the magnetic key from bottom to top
over the hand control as before. All hand control buttons can now be
used again.
The buttons on the hand control are very sensitive. Please keep this in mind
when storing it in the side pocket.
