TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Possible operational problems
INCIDENT CAUSE SOLUTION
The device does not work. Device not switched on or
battery inserted incorrectly.
Stand on the device, and wait
until your weight is shown or
press on it with your feet until
“0.0” is shown on the display.
Check that the batteries are
inserted correctly, making sure
the polarity is correct.
The device is damaged Contact the Zelmer technical
service
Error messages “EEEE” Overload This means that the maximum
weight is exceeded.
PRODUCT CLEANING
This product can only be cleaned by hand using a soft cloth moistened with mild soap. No abrasive cleaning
products, abrasive brushes, solvents, benzene, thinner or alcohol may be used to clean the device under
any circumstances. Do not immerse the appliance in water to clean it or excessively wet it. Do not reuse
the device until it is completely dry.
PRODUCT DISPOSAL
This product complies with European Directive 2012/19/EU on electrical and electronic devices,
known as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), provides the legal framework
applicable in the European Union for the disposal and reuse of waste electronic and electrical
devices. Do not dispose of this product in the bin, instead going to the electrical and electronic
waste collection centre closest to your home.
The product may contain batteries. Remove them before disposing of the product and dispose in
special containers approved for this purpose.
