The openings for ventilation must not be covered.
Before connecting the main cables and switching on the device, please check whether your mains
voltage is suitable for this device and corresponds to the voltage specified on the rating plate of
the laser module.
Do not allow the table power supplies to come into contact with moisture.
Make sure that no liquids get inside the device.
If the housing is damaged, the power supply unit must be taken out of service. The microscope
may only be operated with the desktop power supply unit supplied.
Note that the power of the motor drives of the scanning stage is strong enough to squeeze your
fingers e.g. between the housing and the scanning stage.
After installation or after conversion of the Lattice Lightsheet 7 system, authorized specialized staff must
carefully check that it is in a proper condition and, particularly, that covers protecting against laser radiation
are provided.
By establishing a corresponding workplace environment, please ensure that the formation of electrostatic
charges is avoided.
To avoid vibrations during operation, the Lattice Lightsheet 7 systems should only be operated in conjunction
with the system table (vibration damping).
The Lattice Lightsheet 7 should be placed in a room suitable and dedicated for microscopes.
Do not operate the devices included in the scope of delivery in a potentially explosive atmosphere,
in the presence of volatile anesthetics or flammable solvents such as alcohol, petrol or similar
substances.
If it is determined that protective measures are no longer effective, the device must be taken out
of operation and secured against unintentional use. Contact ZEISS Customer Service or Carl Zeiss
Microscopy Service to have the device repaired.
