New patient
To add a new patient to the database, use the
Ć appropriate button or the
Ć < N > key.
The results of the previous patient displayed on the right and/or left are
cleared from the display. They remain however stored in the internal
database for 5 to 100 days (Ċ> Program Settings , p. 23 ). On the
screen, the dialog box for patient data entry reappears.
Note:
The patient data and measurement results will not be deleted
from the data tables for the optimization of lens constants
(Fig. 31 and Fig. 33).
Ÿ After you have typed in and confirmed the data of the next patient,
the program will switch again to the overview field with surrounding
field illumination to assist in patient alignment.
Note:
The above order of measurements is only an example. You may
also run the measurements described above in a different order.
The only requirement is that the keratometer measurement
precede the anterior chamber depth measurement.
