Fix the special tool at the specimen holder.

a

Insert the pins into the holes of the speci-

men holder.

b

Turn the knob clockwise.

All specimen holders are equipped with a 
dovetail so that the position of the specimen 
holder is exactly defined.

Mount the specimen holder on the stage: 

Push the specimen holder to the mechan-

ical stop. 

10 Unscrew the special tool. 

11 Look into the specimen chamber to ensure

that the specimen cannot hit any components 

when the door is closed.

CAUTION

Pinch hazard when closing the chamber door
Use the door handle to close the chamber door. 
Ensure not to get your fingers caught in the chamber door gap.
