Preheater element
becomes too hot.
(T1 > 40

Remove the handles
from the ComfoAir.
Remove the filters from
the ComfoAir.
Release the front panel
by unscrewing the
screws.
Slide the front panel
upwards and remove
the front panel from
the ComfoAir.
Release the cover panel
by unscrewing
the screws
Remove the small
plastic panel in front
of the
control circuit
board
by unscrewing
the two screws.
Remove the cover
panel.
Activate the self-test
(P76 on 1)
Check the following:
- Fan settings
(to low?)
- Supply valve's
(to far closed?)
- Supply air ducts
(blockages?)
- Version settings
(P57 correct value?)
No Yes
Did
the preheater
element valve open
and close?
Refit the (cog of
the) preheater
element motor.
Disconnect the
power from the
ComfoAir.
Install all parts in
reverse order.
Reconnect the
power to the
ComfoAir.
Risk of electrocution.
Replace cog if it is
worn-out.
