Peripheral Connections
Any external connection with attached peripherals must follow the requirements of clause 16 of
IEC60601-1 3rd ed. or Table BBB.201 of IEC 60601-1-1 for medical electrical systems.
All screws and mechanisms that guarantee positive locking of attached
cables shall be employed.
All HDMI and DVI video cables should employ an EMI bead at the source
and terminus to contain and manage EMI energy from the attached units.
