Description Cause
Lines appear all the way across the
print, but only appear in small groups,
or as sinlgle lines, every 25 inches of
print. There is likely a speck of dirt on the
Chromira’s drum that is riding
underneath the Drum Position Encoder.
Remove the paper from the machine
and clean the drum with alcohol and a
soft, clean cloth, paying close attention
to the area under the Drum Position
Encoder.
Lines appear on one side of print, then
fade away, and then come back after
awhile then come back again, in a
cycle, over a few feet. This is a paper tracking problem, and
will require alignment of the machine,
or an adjustment by the user.
