1. Air filter case check hose

Cleaning the air filter element

3. Install the spark plug and tighten it to the

specified torque. If a torque wrench is not avail-

able when you are installing the spark plug, a

good estimate of the correct torque is one-quarter

to one-half turn past finger tight. Have the spark

plug tightened to the specified torque as soon

as possible.

Tightening torque

Spark plug:

12.5 Nm (1.25m-kgf, 9.0 ft-lbf)

4. Install the spark plug cap.

5. Reinstall the console.

There is a check hose at the bottom of the air filter

case and at the bottom of the air duct under the

case. If dust or water collects in a check hose,

empty the hose and clean the air filter element and

air filter case.
