CHILLED WATER TEMPERATURE
SETPOINT & COOLING RANGE SELECTION
Select the design Chilled Water Temp Setpoint (leaving
or return setpoint) via the two leftmost rotary switches
(Fig. 41). Setpoints 40°-70°F can be selected with stand-
ard GEII.5 REV.2** EPROM (see Fig. 50). Setpoints of
15°*-70°F can be selected with the GEII.5 BR REV.1
(Brine) EPROM (SW1 on Micro Bd. must be OFF for
temps below 40°F. See Fig. 50).

OPTIONAL LWT CONTROL:
From the WATER COOLING RANGE CODES listed
below, select the desired control range and set the Cool-
ing Range Code on the WATER COOLING RANGE
SWITCH (center rotary switch, Fig. 43).
NOTE: These codes are not listed on the control panel
decal.

*Leaving water temperatures below 15°F are not permitted, regardless of whether leaving or return water temperature control is selected.
**The GEII.5 REV.2 may also be labeled GEII.5S REV.2. The two EPROMs are identical.
RWT Control
From the WATER COOLING RANGE CODES SELECT
determine the appropriate control range per design and
select it via the WATER COOLING RANGE switch (cen-
ter rotary switch) (Fig. 42). The codes are listed below.

Return or Leaving Water Temp Control is available de-
pending on the switch configuration of the Micro Logic
Board. See Fig. 50.
SW3 OFF: RWT Control
SW3 ON: LWT Control
NOTE: It is recommended that RWT control be used un-
less LWT control is absolutely necessary. To
avoid cycling, leaving water temperature control
is best obtained using optional additional steps
of loading. Contact YORK Sales for this option.
Set SW5 on the Micro Logic Board for the proper num-
ber of stages (standard 4 or optional 5, 6, 7, or 8). See
Page 50.

SW5 ON: 5, 6, 7, or 8 Stage Control (Optional)
WATER COOLING RANGE SELECTION
A temperature control range must be selected to deter-
mine at what temperatures the chiller will load and un-
load. This selection is usually dictated by the designed
temp. drop across the evaporator.
