CHILLED WATER TEMPERATURE SETPOINT &
COOLING RANGE SELECTION
Select the Design Chilled Water Temp. Setpoint (leav-
ing or return setpoint) via the two leftmost rotary switches
(Fig. 16). Setpoints 40° - 70°F can be selected with stan-
dard GEII.4 REV.2** EPROM (See Fig. 25). Setpoints
of 15° - 70°F can be selected with the GEII.4 BR REV.1)
(Brine) EPROM.

below, select the desired control range and set the Cool-
ing Range Code on the WATER COOLING RANGE
SWITCH (center rotary switch, Fig. 18).
NOTE: These codes are not listed on the control panel
decal.

*Leaving water temperatures below 15°F are not permitted, regard-
less of whether leaving or return water temperature control is se-
lected.

EPROMs are identical.
RWT Control
From the WATER COOLING RANGE CODE SELECT
determine the appropriate control range per design and
select it via the WATER COOLING RANGE Switch (cen-
ter rotary switch) Fig. 17. The codes are listed below.
Return or Leaving Water Temperature Control is avail-
able depending on the switch configuration of the Micro
Logic Board. See Fig. 25.
SW.3 OFF: RWT Control
SW.3 ON: LWT Control
NOTE: It is recommended that RWT control be used un-
less LWT control is absolutely necessary. Leaving
water temperature control may cause compressor
cycling and temperature fluctuations.*
WATER COOLING RANGE CONTROL SELECTION
A temperature control range must be selected to deter-
mine at what temperatures the chiller will load and un-
load. This selection is usually dictated by the designed
temperature drop across the evaporator.
