Connecting the Power Cord

1.

 

Check that the power is turned off and that cables are not connected.

2.

  Connect the power cord plug to the power inlet on the top panel.

3.

 

Connect the other end of the cord to an outlet that meets the following 
conditions.
  Rated supply voltage*     100 

VAC 

to 240 VAC

  Permitted supply voltage range   90 VAC to 264 VAC
 Rated 

supply 

frequency 

    50/60 Hz

  Permitted supply frequency range 45 Hz to 65 Hz
  Maximum power consumption    Approx. 7 VA

  *   This instrument can use a 100 V or a 200 V power supply. The maximum 

rated voltage differs according to the type of power cord. Before you use 

the instrument, check that the voltage supplied to it is less than or equal 

to the maximum rated voltage of the power cord provided with it (see 

page iii for the maximum voltage rating).
