Once the charging process has concluded, first turn the rectifier off with the switch, unplug the device from the mains and then
disconnect the terminal of the charging cable.

Attention! During the whole charging process it is required to monitor the voltage of the battery using an adequate voltmeter, which
is not provided with the rectifier.
Depending on the nominal voltage of the battery, connect the charging cable to the adequate terminal of the rectifier. Make sure
the knob is safely tightened and the contact is not loose.
Connect the terminals of the rectifier to the terminals of the battery, and make sure the terminal of the rectifier marked as „+” is
connected to the terminal of the battery marked as „+” and the terminal of the rectifier marked as „-” is connected to the terminal
of the battery marked as „-”.
Before charging commences the battery must be placed on an even and stable surface, and the covers of the battery cells
removed.
It is recommended to remove the battery from the vehicle before charging commences, which will minimise the risk of damaging
the alternator.
Plug the power supply cord to the mains.
Set the switch to „1” and if the voltage increases change it to „2” or „3”.
Set the switch to „4”, „5” or „6” when the voltage of the battery has reached the nominal value for the given battery (12 V or 24 V).
Then turn the lower knob clockwise to set the time within the range of up to 60 minutes.
Attention! The charging current will be completely cut off until the timer has been initiated.
Once the programmed time has elapsed a sound signal will be heard, and the rectifier will conclude the charging process.
Attention! Once the voltage of the battery has reached the value of 14-14.4 V for batteries whose nominal voltage amounts to 12
V or 28-28.8 V for batteries whose nominal voltage amounts to 24 V and the charging current has dropped to 0 in the indicator the
rectifier is equipped with, the timer must be reset manually. In order to do so turn the knob anticlockwise to 0.
Once the charging process has concluded, first turn the rectifier off with the switch, unplug the device from the mains and then
disconnect the terminal of the charging cable.
The starting function
Attention! Due to a high current consumed while the starting function is used, the rectifier must be connected to the mains of
adequate parameters.
The starting function is available for batteries whose nominal voltage amounts to 12 V or 24 V.
Attention! Motors submitted to the starting procedure must be in good technical conditions.
Attention! In case the starting function is used for motors equipped with a high-capacity battery and/or at a low ambient tempera-
ture, before the starting function is used the battery must be charged for approximately 15 minutes, which will permit to avoid
excessive current consumption.
Connect the charging cable as in case of regular battery charging.
Attention! For a starting test two persons are required. One will operate the rectifier and the other the vehicle.
Turn the rectifier on.
Set the switch to the vehicle and person symbol for
3 seconds
, and then set is back to the original position. Due to the high
value of the starting current it is prohibited to exceed the period of three seconds for a starting test. After the three seconds, it is
required to wait for 4 minutes (240 seconds), before another test is realised. After five starting-break cycles have been realised, it
is required to stop tests, until the rectifier has cooled completely. A longer starting time or more cycles may lead to overheating of
the rectifier or damage to the insulation of the starting cables.
Once the motor has been started turn the rectifier off and disconnect the leads from the terminals of the battery.
Attention! During starting tests the charging cables heat up to high temperatures. Be careful while disconnecting the terminals.
Attention! If several attempts to start fail, the battery may be used up and it must be replaced with a new one.
Replacement of the fuse
Attention! The fuse may be replaced only if the power supply voltage is off. In order to do so the power supply cord of the rectifier
must be unplugged from the mains the terminals of the charging cables disconnected from the electrodes of the battery.
There is a metal fuse under the cover marked as “FUSE”. In case of overload it is burnt and it must be replaced. In order to do
so loosen the nuts holding the fuse, remove the burnt fuse and replace it with a new one. Tighten the holding nuts securely and
install the cover.
Attention! It is prohibited to replace the fuse with a wire or another conductor. It may lead to electric shock and increases the threat
of fire. It is required to use fuses of the same type and identical parameters as those installed by the manufacturer.
