CAUTION
Lifting Heavy Object Hazard: Proper lifting technique must be used in order to avoid injuries.
Use a two-man lift to install the Power Head.
NOTICE !
Carefully Align the Power Head with Wire Box: For ease of installation the Power Head and Wire Box are designed
with a blind mate connector using a series of guiding brackets and pins. It is important to carefully mate the Power
Head and Wire Box together to avoid damaging the electrical connections in the blind mate connector. Installing the
Power Head in a misaligned position, or with too much force may damage the equipment permanently. Damage
caused by improper installation is not covered under warranty.
Using a two-man lift, position the Power Head on top of the Wire Box. Align the Power Head and Wire Box using the metal
bracket and guide pins. The Power Head should slide into position. Gentle downward pressure may be necessary to fully
seat the Power Head onto the Wire Box.
Use four (4) M5 x 0.8, 16mm bolts and four (4) M5 x 0.8, nuts to secure the Power Head to the Wire Box as shown in Figure
3-10. Insert bolts from the top and nuts from the bottom of the bracket. Use two (2) screw/nut assemblies on each side
of the inverter. Using an 8 mm socket and wrench, torque to 20 in-lbs. (2.3 N-m).
