7. Lubricate:

• friction plates
• clutch plates

(with the recommended lubricant)

Recommended lubricant

Engine oil

8. Install:

• friction plates
• clutch plates

NOTE:

• First, install a friction plate and then alternate

between a clutch plate and a friction plate.

• Align the two embossed mark

on the

clutch housing with the two semicircular slots

in the friction plates.

9. Install:

• pressure plate

NOTE:
Align the punch mark

on the pressure plate

with the punch mark

on the clutch boss.

10.Install:

• clutch spring plate seat

• clutch spring plate

• clutch spring plate retainer

• clutch spring bolts

NOTE:

Tighten the clutch spring bolts in stages and in
a crisscross pattern.

8 Nm (0.8 m · kg)

11.Install:

• clutch cover

NOTE:

Tighten the clutch cover bolts in stages and in
a crisscross pattern.

10 Nm (1.0 m · kg)
