system, which mutes your

receiver when it receives a call from the

radio sending a matched Tone Frequency. The “

” icon will blink on the

display when the Reverse Tone Squelch system is activated.

Selecting “

PR FRQ

” in step 2 above, will activate the User programmed Re-

verse Tone Squelch, which mutes the

VR-160

receiver when it receives a

signal containing a tone matching the Tone Frequency in Set Menu Item: 39:
