Operation

Fig 64. Raise Boom Until Pivot Pins (A) Are Fully Seated in Attachment

Hooks (B)

Raise the boom until pivot pins (A) have seated fully in at-

tachment hooks (B).

Tilt the attachment up slightly. The quick attach adapter

should be tight against the rear of the attachment. Align the

holes between the quick attach adapter and attachment.

Insert pin completely through the attachment and quick

attach adapter.

Hydraulic attachments have a maximum

hydraulic pressure rating. Failure to make

sure the attachment is equipped with a

pressure reducing valve, or is rated to be

equal or greater than 3,200 psi (220.6 bar),

which is the maximum pressure of the forklift auxiliary

hydraulic system at the quick-disconnect couplers, could

result in death or serious injury.

Warning

Connect the quick attach couplers (this only applies to at-

tachments with a quick attach hydraulic system).
